Walking service bookings are when one or more pets (with the same owner) will be attending a private walking session. Multiple services can be added as a single booking group (up to 50).
They require each service to have a room with available capacity, and an available staff member rostered on.
Tip: Staff rostering can be automated with Staff Roster Templates in Account Settings.
Note: Customers can also request bookings online if you are using the customer portal.
Walking Service Fields

Customer – select the customer you are making the booking for.
- You can also create a new customer by clicking the blue plus icon.
- Location – select the location for the new booking (multi-location accounts only).
Walking Services
- Area – select the area to use for the booking.

Walking Service – select the walking service to use for the booking.
- Walking services can be created in “Courses, Sessions & Services” in the Settings menu.

Pets – select the pet(s) that will be attending the service.
- You can also create a new pet by clicking the blue “Add New Pet” button.

Staff – select the staff member(s) that will be providing the service.
- Staff members can be created in “Account” in the Settings menu.
- If this field is left blank, the system will automatically assign the first available staff member to the booking.

Date – select the date to schedule the booking for.
- The available dates displayed will be based on the availability of staff and walking placements. If the date you wish to use is showing as not available, check there is a walking staff member rostered on and that there is a walking placement available on that date.

Time – select the time to schedule the booking for.
- The available times displayed will be based on the availability of staff and walking placements. If the time you wish to use is showing as not available, check there is a walking staff member rostered on and that there is a walking placement available at that time.
- The available times will begin at the working start time and increase by walking time interval until the working end time. You can modify these in General Settings to affect the available times.
If you wish to add additional services to the booking, you can click the green “Add Service” button at the bottom of the panel.
