In home bookings are when you or your staff will be attending the customers home, to care for one or more pets. Multiple dates can be added as a single booking group (up to 50).
They require each item to have available capacity for the duration of the booking.
Tip: Specific dates can be blocked from booking in Special Dates in Customization Settings.
Note: Customers can also request bookings online if you are using the customer portal.
In Home Fields

Customer – select the customer you are making the booking for.
- You can also create a new customer by clicking the blue plus icon.
- Location – select the location for the new booking (multi-location accounts only).

Date Type – here you can select the method for selecting the in home dates.
- Specific Dates – this allows you to choose one or more specific dates.
- Date Range – this allows you to choose specific days within a range.
- Ignore Validation – enable this if you wish to create the booking regardless of opening hours, blocked dates or minimum nights settings.
- Unconfirmed – enable this if you wish to create the booking as unconfirmed.
- Checkin Time – choose the default time for checkin.
- Checkout Time – choose the default time for checkout.
The checkin and checkout times can be customized for each of the selected dates. If a chosen date is unavailable (eg. due to blocked dates) it will be displayed in red and can be excluded from the booking using the red trash icon.
In Home Items
- Area – select the area to use for the booking.

Home Type – select the home type to use for the booking.
- Bookings will automatically be assigned to the first available item of the selected type.

Pets – select the pet(s) that will be occupying the pen.
- You can also create a new pet by clicking the blue “Add New Pet” button.

Staff – select the staff member(s) that will be attending the house.
- Staff members can be created in “Account” in the Settings menu.
