For many types of pets in your care, you’ll need to document their vaccinations and track both the administration and expiry dates.
Pet Manager supports this by allowing you set up and record all vaccination details, and automatically send reminders to customers when their pet’s vaccinations are nearing their due date.

To manage your Vaccination Types go to Settings > Animals & Breeds
Then navigate to Vaccination Types in the left side menu.
Vaccination Type Overview Table
This page shows all Vaccination Types that have been set up in the system, giving you a clear snapshot of their key details. It allows you to quickly see information at a glance and edit the Names.
To make further changes to a Vaccination Type, click the Edit button to open the full edit view. If you need to delete the Vaccination Type, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit and choose Delete from the menu.
Vaccination Types that already have pets associated cannot be deleted.
Place Handler - This setting lets you control the order in which Vaccination Types appear on the dropdown menu when adding vaccinations. You can simply use the up and down arrows to drag the items into the position you prefer, ensuring the display order matches how you’d like admin staff and customers to see them.
Adding Vaccination Types
You can add a new Vaccination Type with the button to the top-right of list.
Name - Defines the name of the vaccination to be recorded
Animal Type - Identifies the species the vaccination belongs to, ensuring it is only shown for the correct Animal Type.

Renewal Period - Defines the validity period of the vaccination and indicates when a renewal will be required.

When vaccinations have been set up, they can be linked to a pet’s record. This makes them visible across the admin system and allows customers to add, edit, and view their pet’s vaccination details through their Customer Portal login.
