Knowing an animal’s sex is important because it affects its health needs, reproductive risks, behaviour, housing, and nutrition. Understanding whether an animal is male or female helps prevent unplanned breeding, manage hormone‑driven behaviours, tailor medical care, and create a safer, lower‑stress environment.
Pet Manager supports this by allowing users to accurately record an animal’s sex, ensuring consistent, informed care across all records.
