Custom Colourised Tags allow you to label pets with clear, colour‑coded identifiers (e.g., Reactive). These tags appear throughout the Pet Manager interface and can be used to filter pets when searching or managing bookings.
Unlike Behaviour Traits, which can be added and viewed by customers, Tags are intended for internal use and help staff identify key information quickly throughout the system.

To manage your Tags go to Settings > Animals & Breeds
Then navigate to Tags in the left side menu.
Tags Overview Table
This page shows all Tags that have been set up in the system, giving you a clear snapshot of their key details. It allows you to quickly see information at a glance, such as how many pets are linked to each Tag and the colour associated.
Pets - Indicates the total number of pets linked to the Tag, including inactive ones. The count is a live link that opens the Find Pets Report.
To make further changes to a Tag, click the Edit button to open the full edit view. If you need to delete the Tag, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit and choose Delete from the menu.
Tags that already have pets associated cannot be deleted.
Adding a New Tag
You can add a new Tag with the button to the top-right of list.
Name - Defines the label for the Tag. This identifier is viewed system‑wide.
Colour - Select the colour from the dropdown menu making the Tag easily identifiable when the Name is not visible.
