This central hub allows you to efficiently manage one-off bus routes by monitoring real-time capacity, scheduling, and driver navigation details. Through the management table, you can independently adjust individual route instances and customize stop visibility to ensure a streamlined transport service for both your staff and customers.

To manage your Bus Routes go to Settings > Extras.
Then navigate to Bus Routes in the left side menu.
Bus Routes Overview Table
Use this table to monitor and manage individual bus routes. At a glance, you can review essential details such as:
Route Identity: Name and assigned bus.
Schedule: Start and end dates, including specific times.
Capacity & Stops: Total vehicle capacity and the number of stops included in the route.
Location: The destination for the bus route. When using the Multi‑Site feature, buses can be assigned to different sites
Search & Filter Tools: To help you find specific information quickly, you can filter the list by Bus, Route, Stop or Date, or use the Search bar to look for specific keywords. You can also adjust the Entries per page setting to view more results at once.
From this screen, you can perform quick inline edits to names and capacities, or use the action menu to View, Edit, or Delete a route.
Name - Displays the name of the Bus Route
Bus - Displays the bus selected for this route.
Location - Will be default location unless specified and if you have multi-location capabilities.
Start / End - The start and end date and time for the bus route.
Pickup Capacity - The maximum amount of pets that can be picked up.
Dropoff Capacity - The maximum amount of pets that can be dropped off.
Stops - Will show the value of how many stops are included in the route.
Bus Route Directions Unused Stops
When this setting is enabled, the "Get Directions" functionality from with the route overview will include every stop on the route - even those with no pickups or drop-offs scheduled. If disabled, the system will automatically optimize the directions to show only the stops where a booking is present, helping to streamline the trip for the driver.
Adding a New Bus Route
To add a new Bus Route click on the button top right.
Name - Defines the identifying label for the bus route.
Start - Select the start date and time for the bus route. This must be set to a time before the check‑in time defined in the Daycare Service
End - Select the end date and time for the bus route. This must be set to a time after the check‑out time defined in the Daycare Service
Location - Location for bus Route.
Bus - Select the bus you want to assign.
Staff - Choose if this bus route has a dedicated staff member.
Transport Type - Select what this route will be specifically doing. eg pickups, dropoffs or both.
Pickup Capacity - The maximum amount of pets that can be picked up.
Dropoff Capacity - The maximum amount of pets that can be dropped off.
Adding Stops
When creating a new route, you can select as many stops as necessary. However, ensure that the number of stops and their locations are realistic within the route's designated start and end times.
Bus Stop - Choose a pre-determined stop from the dropdown menu. If you need to add a new location, you can do so directly from this screen by clicking the button.
Stop Time - Choose a stop time in relation to the start and end time, allowing a realistic amount of time to travel between stops.
Cost - This price will override the extra cost for this stop.
You can rearrange the order of stop entries by using the drag-and-drop handle. Simply click and drag each price to the desired position in the list.
Once edited press the button.
Viewing an Individual Bus Route
To view a specific bus route from the overview page, simply click the button. This opens the detailed Bus Route page, providing a breakdown of each stop and a list of the specific customers and pets assigned to the trip.
You can access driving directions directly from the route by clicking the dropdown button next to Edit and selecting Directions.
This will open Google Maps in a new browser tab, automatically plotting your stops so you can begin your trip with turn-by-turn navigation prompts.
Title - Route Name and date / time details.
This panel provides an overview of the route location, the assigned vehicle, and the total number of stops (including specific types, such as Pickups). You can also monitor real-time capacity to see total spots versus remaining availability.
All stops are organized in a condensed layout to provide a quick birds-eye view of your journey. This view allows you to instantly identify the stop name, scheduled time, and address, along with the exact pickup and drop-off counts for each location.
You can expand any stop to access detailed customer information and alerts, aswell as the pet information and current extra status.
Status Updates: Use the status selector to mark a service as "Completed", they are pending by default.

Click Edit to make specific adjustments to the stop details.
Selecting Delete will permanently remove the booking from that specific stop. Please note: You won't be able to delete a route if there are active bookings for the extra - you’d need to delete the bookings (or at least the extra associated with that route) first, and then the bus route could be deleted.
