Pet Manager includes a powerful set of tools for managing your Taxi and Bus Services. Because transport operates differently from other features, it now has its own dedicated menu and settings designed specifically for handling routes, stops, and scheduling. You can offer customers the convenience of scheduled Bus Routes for pickups and drop‑offs, set up Taxi services that charge per distance travelled or have a shuttle set to a specific location and time.
• Flexible Locations: Create bus stops or taxi locations in public areas (such as parks or landmarks) or allow customers to enter a specific address.
• Custom Scheduling: Build fully customisable routes by day, suburb, and time, giving you complete control over how and when your transport services operate.

To manage your Transport Services, go to Settings > Extras.
Then click Transport Services from the left side menu.
Transport Services Overview Table
The Overview page displays all Transport Services configured within the system, giving you a clear snapshot of their key details. From here, you can quickly review information at a glance and make edits directly.
There are several sorting options available, making it quicker and easier to locate and edit the required service.
Select Type - Enables you to view all Extra Types that have been used.
Search - Filters by matching full or partial names.
Show Inactive - When toggled to OFF it will hide all inactive Transport Services.
To make further changes to a Transport Service, click the Edit button to open the full edit view. If you need to delete the Service, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit and choose Delete from the menu.
Taxi Pickup/Dropoff Capacities
Taxi Pickup Maximum Pets - Defines the daily capacity limit for pets using the Taxi Pickup service, ensuring service levels are managed effectively
Taxi Dropoff Maximum Pets - Defines the daily capacity limit for pets using the taxi Dropoff service, ensuring service levels are managed effectively.
Bus Route Dashboard Enable - Enable this option when using the Bus Services module to activate the dedicated Bus Route Dashboard, giving you easy access to all your daily routes in one central place.

Once edited press the button.
Adding a Transport Service
To add a new Service click on either button top right depending on the service required.

To upload an image for the Transport Service, select Click to upload Image and choose a file from your computer or device.
This image will be visible on the customer portal when a booking is being made.
Name - Defines how the service will be labelled. This name will appear when viewing or selecting Transport Services while creating a booking.
Cost - Defines the cost at which the service will be charged to your customers.
Area Types - Select the Area Type that applies to the service. If no Area is selected, the service will be available for all bookings.
Customer Type - Allows you to select which customer group this service will be limited to based on how your types are set up.
Start - Specifies the date from which the service becomes valid.
End - Specifies the date until which the service remains valid. After this date, the service will no longer be available.
Specific Days - Select this option if you require the extra to be available on specific days.
Use Times - Select this option if you want to use pre-set times set up under Adding Extra Times.
Specific Address - Enter the address you want to assign to the extra, this will be visible in the Transport Pick Up reports, and Google Map link.
Extra Type - Defines the category under which the Extra is grouped. Select the appropriate Extra Type to ensure correct organisation.
Transport Type* - Indicates whether the service is a pickup or a dropoff. This classification ensures the service is routed to the appropriate system reports, making daily transport management easier and more accurate.
Single Charge - Defines whether the service is billed once per booking, regardless of the number of pets.
No Charge - Defines a service that is provided without cost. If selected, the service will not be included in the invoice.
Show Portal - Select this to allow customers to choose this service when booking through the Customer Portal.
Active - Determines the service status. Active service's can be used; inactive ones are unavailable to customers and Admin.
Taxi Services Only
Advanced Taxi Pricing - Allows you to manage in more detail how the taxi service is charged. Once selected, additional options will be available below.
- Min Dist - Specifies the minimum distance threshold at which the cost calculation is activated.
- Max Dist - Specifies the upper distance limit beyond which the cost no longer applies.
- Min Pets - Specifies the minimum number of pets required in a booking for this service to become available.
- Cost - Defines the cost at which the Advanced Pricing will be charged to your customers.
- Per Km - Specifies if the amount that will be charged per km, if left blank the cost will be a one off fee for distances set between the min & max distance.
- Include Base Price - Applies advanced pricing as an additional charge alongside the base cost.
To set up tiered pricing for taxis, click the button. This feature lets you define multiple pricing rules within a single service—for example, different charges based on distance travelled or the number of pets included in the booking.
Once edited press the button.
Recalculate Transport Services Prices
If you need to update your Transport Service prices and want to apply this price change to existing bookings, this can be done by selecting, button.
This will open a dialog box where you can select the date from which the price change should take effect
Then
This will recalculate all non‑cancelled Transport Service extras applied after the selected date.
For existing bookings any price changes will generate new invoice items, which you will then need to manually invoice or consolidate. Note that this process will not be done automatically.
This action can only be performed once per day.
