Booking Extras refer to any supplementary products or services that can be added to a booking to enhance or support a pet’s stay. These are optional add‑ons that often come with an additional cost and allow you to tailor the booking to the specific needs of the pet or preferences of the owner.
Examples include: Walks, Administering medication at set times, Grooming or Products.

To manage your Extras go to Settings > Extras.
Then navigate to Extras in the left side menu.

Adding an Extra
To add a new Extra click on either button top right depending on the type required.

Add Product Designed to allocate a quantity on selection. |

To upload an image for the Extra, select Click to upload Image and choose a file from your computer or device.
This image will be visible on the customer portal when a booking is being made.
Name - Defines how the Extra will be labelled. This name will appear when viewing or selecting Extras while creating a booking.
Cost - Defines the cost at which the Extra will be charged to your customers.
Default Applied Date - Defines when the Extra will be applied to the booking, for example if the pet is staying for several nights and the owner has requested a bath to be added to the booking, this can be configured to add the Extra using the Departure Date.
Area Types - Select the Area Type that applies to the Extra. If no Area is selected, the Extra will be available for all bookings.
Customer Type - Allows you to select which customer group this Extra will be limited to based on how your types are set up.
Start - Specifies the date from which the Extra becomes valid.
End - Specifies the date until which the Extra remains valid. After this date, the Extra will no longer be available.
Specific Days - Select this option if you require the extra to be available on specific days.
Use Times - Select this option if you want to use pre-set times set up under Adding Extra Times.
Extra Type - Defines the category under which the Extra is grouped. Select the appropriate Extra Type to ensure correct organisation.
Linked To Booking Dates - (Services Only) Determines whether the Extra is applied per day. When selected, the Extra will be charged for each day of the booking duration. Additional options will appear giving the alternative choice to apply the Extra either on the Checkout Day or as a One off-Charge.
Use Times - Select this option if you want to use pre-set times set up under Adding Extra Times.
Example Morning, Lunch, or Afternoon.

Single Charge - (Services Only) Defines whether the Extra is billed once per booking, regardless of the number of pets.
No Charge - (Product & Service) Defines an Extra that is provided without cost. If selected, the Extra will not be included in the invoice.
Show Portal - (Product & Service) Select this to allow customers to choose this Extra when booking through the Customer Portal.
Active - (Product & Service) Determines the Extra's status. Active Extras can be used; inactive ones are unavailable to customers and Admin.
Once edited press the button.
Please Note: If you are editing an Extra which was entered before the Extras Product/Service Update (Jan 2026), you will have the ability to make it a product by ticking the checkbox.
Extra Overview
Use this table to view all Extras, whether active or inactive. You can easily update each one, change the name or cost, and toggle settings like, Single Charge, Show Portal, and Active. This view will also show you which extras have specific days set or use times.
There are several sorting options available, making it quicker and easier to locate and edit the required Extra.
Select Type - Enables you to view all Extras that have been grouped by a specific type.
Search - Filters Extras by matching full or partial names.
Show Inactive - When toggled to OFF it will hide all inactive Extras.
To edit an Extra click on the button at the end of each line entry.
To delete an Extra click on the arrow next to Edit.
Adding Extra Times
| Adding Extra Times is useful when your services run in fixed sessions or shifts, or when a particular service must be completed at a specific time. This feature allows you to define standardised time slots for your Extras, ensuring they are scheduled consistently across all bookings. |
To manage your Extra Times go to Settings > Extras.
Then navigate to Extra Times in the left side menu.
Then select the button top right.
Name - Defines how the Extra Time will be labelled. This name will appear when viewing or selecting Extras when adding a booking.
Time - Specify when the Extra should take place during the booking.
Once edited press the button.
Extra Time Overview
This table displays all configured Times, with options to edit the Name, adjust the Time, and change their display order on booking forms.
To change the display order, use the arrows on the far right to drag the Extra Time into position. This order will be reflected when making bookings .
To edit an Extra Time click on the button at the end of each line entry.
To delete an Extra Time click on the arrow next to Edit.
