Training Services are required when creating a Training (Custom Time) booking. This booking type is used for private training sessions held at your facility, where one or more pets — all belonging to the same owner — will attend together. Assigning a Training Service ensures the correct session details, pricing, and trainer allocation are applied.

To create and manage your Training Services go to Settings > Courses, Sessions & Service.
Then navigate to Training Services in the left side menu.
Training Services Overview
The Overview page displays a list of all Training Services, allowing quick edits to key fields. You can click directly on the underlined Name and Time to update them, and toggle the Active status and Show Portal.
If multiple prices are configured for the service, this field will display “from” followed by the lowest applicable price. This indicates that pricing may vary based on factors such as customer type, number of pets, or package settings.
To make further changes to a Training Service, click the Edit button to open the full edit view. If you need to delete a Service, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit and choose Delete from the menu.
To view inactive Services, toggle the Show Inactive switch to the on position. This will display all Services that are currently marked as inactive within the Overview list.
Adding Training Services
You can add a new Training Service with the button in the top-right.
Name – The label used to identify the training service. This name will appear in the private training booking forms and be visible to customers via the portal,

Customer Portal
Description – A summary of the training service, shown in both the private training form and the check availability view within the customer portal. Use this field to outline what the session includes and who it’s suitable for.
Training Type – This setting defines the category of Training linked to a service, making it easier to group and organize similar activities together.
- This field is required to match available staff with the appropriate skills or qualifications.
- It can also be used to control which services are eligible for package token redemption, ensuring tokens are only applied to relevant training types.
Animal Type – Specifies which type of animal the service applies to (e.g., dog, cat, rabbit). This ensures the service is only available for bookings involving compatible animal types.
Room Type –Specifies the type of room required for the service (e.g., Training Hall, Consultation Room). Rooms will be automatically assigned when creating bookings, based on availability.
Time – Specifies the duration of the service. This value determines how long the booking will last and is used to calculate the checkout time automatically.
Active – Indicates whether the service is currently available for use. If the service is no longer required, disable this setting to make it inactive.
- Services with existing bookings cannot be deleted, so they must be deactivated instead to prevent further use.
Show Portal – Enable this setting to make the service visible in the customer portal. When active, customers will be able to view and book the service online
Training Service Pricing
Training services can have multiple pricing options. When a booking cost is being calculated, the prices are checked in order and the first matching price will be used.
Customer Type – Specifies which customer group the pricing applies to
- If no type is selected, the service pricing will be available to all customer types by default.
Pet Index - Specifies the number of pets included per booking for pricing purposes. This value determines how the service cost is calculated when multiple pets are booked under the same service.
Cost – Specifies the price of the service per pet. This value is used to calculate the total charge based on the number of pets included in the booking.
Tokens – Specifies how many package tokens are required to book the service, per pet.
To add a new price layer press the button.

You can rearrange the order of pricing entries by using the drag-and-drop handle. Simply click and drag each price to the desired position in the list. .
