Training courses are structured programmes made up of multiple sessions, often following a defined curriculum or progression. Unlike standalone sessions, courses span several days or weeks, and participants commit to the full programme. The system manages training courses as a group of sessions offered at a fixed price.

To create and manage your Training Courses go to Settings > Courses, Sessions & Services.
Then navigate to Training Courses in the left side menu.
Training Courses - Overview
The Overview page lists all created Training Courses, providing a quick summary of their key details.
When using the Multi-Site plan, you can view Courses by location. Simply use the dropdown menu to select the location you wish to view.
Name - Name of the Course can be edited from here.
Start - The date and time the Course starts.
End - The date and time the Course finishes.
Cost - Shows the total cost for the full course.
Area - Shows the Area that the course is allocated to e.g. Training.
Sessions - Shows how many separate sessions the Course includes.
Availability - Shows the total capacity for the course and the availability remaining.
Actions - The arrow next to the View button provides options to edit details, delete or clone the configuration, allowing quick duplication with minimal adjustments.
Click the View button to access and manage bookings for the course. This opens the course's overview page.
Individual Course Overview Page
Within the Course Overview page, you can view booking details for each pet in the course and access individual bookings as needed.
You can email all recipients by clicking the email icon in the top-right corner. This opens a blank email body for you to customise.
The Edit button provides the options to;
- Edit the course details
- Clone course
- Delete the course
Functionality Summary per Tab
Overview - Provides a snapshot of pets booked onto the course, capacity and availability, invoicing status, session notes, associated course details, and progress.
Pets - Lists all pets booked into the session, with details and profile access links.
Sessions - Displays a comprehensive list of all course sessions, including session name, start and end dates and times, assigned staff, training area, current status, and a view button for accessing individual session details.

Turn on the the Show Cancelled toggle to reveal any sessions that have been cancelled.
Customers - Displays all individuals who have booked pets on to the course, along with their contact details, profile access links, and the option to edit their profiles.
Bookings - Displays all course bookings, including pet names, booking status, and links to the original booking.
Emails/Sms - Displays all communications sent to customers via email or SMS in relation to the session
Adding a Training Course
To add a new training course, click the button located in the top-right corner of the screen.
Page One
Image Upload - Select the placeholder labelled “Click to upload logo” and choose a suitable picture from your computer or device.
Name - The title or label used to identify the training course.
Description - Description of what is included in this training course. This will be visible to the customers when looking at booking availabilities.
Notes - Enter detailed internal notes related to the course. These will appear on the Course Overview page for reference.
Documents - Allows you to attach preloaded system documents to group emails sent via the course email feature. Select the desired file from the dropdown menu.
Location - When using the Multi-Site plan, select the location where the course will be held.
Area - Select the relevant area (e.g., Training, Agility, Behaviour) based on your system configuration.
Package - Select the relevant package that is associated with the course.
- A new package can be created from this screen by selecting the
button.
Show Portal - When selected, this option makes the course available for customer booking via the customer portal. If left unselected, bookings can only be made by admin staff.
Course Type - This option allows you to set either a Fixed Course or a Rolling Course.

• A Fixed course is a fixed price for a fixed set of sessions. - The sessions can be on any dates across multiple weeks. • New sessions cannot be added to a course once a booking has been made. • Repeating sessions cannot be created for a fixed course. • Bookings can only be created for a fixed course prior to the first session date. - They cannot join a fixed course part way through. • Course sessions can be marked as “course only” (meaning they can only be booked as part of the course) or otherwise they can also be booked separately. • Course capacity is determined as the maximum capacity for each course session. |
• A Rolling course is a fixed price for a fixed number of sessions (within a set). - The sessions can be on any dates across multiple weeks. • New sessions can be added to a rolling course at any time. • Repeating sessions can be created for a rolling course, if there are no repeating training session bookings. • Bookings can be created for a rolling course if there is at least one session in the future. - They can join a rolling course at any time. • Course sessions can be marked as “course only” (meaning they can only be booked as part of the course) or otherwise they can also be booked separately. • Course capacity is determined as the maximum capacity for any of the future course sessions. |
Rolling Sessions - Lets you define the total number of sessions included in the course.

Page Two
Once you complete page one, selecting Save will automatically advance you to page two.
Training Session Type - Select the training session type from the dropdown menu.
- To create a new session type, click the
button.
Days - Select the days that the course will be held on. This can be multiple days.
Start Date - Select the start date from the date picker for when the first course session will take place.
End Date - Select the end date from the date picker for when the last course session will take place.
Repeating - If the course session is a one-off, leave the checkbox unticked. To create repeating sessions, tick the checkbox to reveal additional scheduling options.
Repeat Every - Select the number of weeks between each course session to define the repeat interval.

example - In the “Repeat Every” field, you would enter: 2
• This means:
The course session will repeat every 2 weeks from the selected start date.
Until - (Optional) To set an end date for the session series, select a date from the date picker. Leave blank for no limit. The sessions will then be generated determined on the number of days set in the Training Session Auto Weeks within the Training Sessions settings.
Or, Number Of Times To Repeat - (Optional) To set a specified number of times to repeat the session. Leave blank for no limit.
Notes - Enter detailed internal notes related to the course sessions. These will appear on the course sessions overview page for reference.
Location - When using the Multi-Site plan, select the location where the course will be held.
Area - This field typically defaults to the relevant type of area for the course being created. In this case, it defaults to Training.
Room - Select the room that will be reserved for the course. Options will be based on your system configuration.
- To create a new room, click the
button.
Capacity - Enter a custom capacity if it differs from the default room capacity settings.
Multiple Bookings - To allow multiple families to book into the same session, tick the checkbox. This setting defaults to the room configuration but can be overridden if required.
Staff - Select the staff member(s) assigned to lead the course. You may choose more than one.
- To manage a staff members availability click the
button.
Training Course - This field will default to the name of the course that the sessions are being linked to.
Course Only - Select this checkbox if the session should only be available as part of a course. Leave it unselected to allow individual bookings. For most courses, this option is typically selected.
Once edited click the button bottom right.
