Step 4 - Syncing Data

Once you have commenced syncing contacts, you can select a date and start syncing data. The data sync will start automatically once the contacts have been completed.

Firstly, select a start date for the sync to start from. If for example you want to sync all invoices and payments from February 2022, you would select 01/02/2022 as the start date. Pet Manager will back sync all data back to this date.

You can set a date in the future too if you wish. The data will only commence syncing on that date. Once you have set a sync date that has past, and data has been synced you can't undo the sync.

It is important to note that if you have already entered the invoices and payments manually for a financial period, you may end up with duplicate records if you back sync. This cannot be undone so please consider wisely!

When you are ready click Start Syncing Data and the data will sync in the background. All future entries you make in Pet Manager will automatically be synced to Xero without you having to touch anything.
