The Xero Accounting Dashboard provides a real‑time view of your integration with Xero, helping you monitor sync activity, check connection status, and ensure your financial data is flowing correctly between the two systems. It brings together key information so you can easily confirm that invoices, payments, and contacts are syncing as expected.

Accessing the Dashboard
To access the dashboard from any page use the Accounting widget (money symbol) at the top of the page
You can also navigate to the dashboard by going Settings > Integrations then go to Xero in the left side menu. From here under step 1 select View Accounting Dashboard.
Dashboard Overview
The Accounting Dashboard provides a clear summary of your Xero sync activity, showing how many items have successfully synced, how many have errors, and how many are still queued for processing. It breaks these counts down across all key record types, including Contacts, Invoices, Credit Notes, Overpayments, Payments, Allocations, and Stripe Payouts.
You can select any of the counts to filter the list and view only the items with that specific status within that category.
Further down the Accounting Dashboard, you’ll find a set of tabs showing the different categories and all entries currently syncing to Xero. Each tab represents a specific record type, matching the count tiles above.
Any entry will display either a name or a reference in blue, which acts as a live link back to the original source.
For Example
The Customers Name, will take you to the customers profile
The invoice number will take you to the invoice.
The search bar provides a quick way to find specific entries within the list.
You can adjust how many entries appear on each page by using the Show Entries dropdown in the top‑right corner of the section for that category.
As an entry moves through the sync process, its progress is reflected both in the count indicators above and in the status shown for each item within the category tabs.
You can view any entry directly in Xero by selecting the button, which opens the corresponding record in your Xero account.
Error Details
Items that require attention will appear in the red error count shown in the dashboard overview. Selecting this count takes you directly to the relevant category tab, where the list is automatically filtered to show only the entries that need action.
In this example we have an incorrect Account Code set for Payments. If we went ahead and changed the code in the xero settings, we could come back and press the Resync button.
This would attempt to sync the items again to the select account code. The errors should then be resolved.
If you have an error that can't be resolved in Pet Manager, for example if you have a payment that isn't synchronized because it is against an invoice that is before the sync start date you selected, then you will need to manually resolve it in Xero and then click dropdown next to Resync and click the Resolve button in the Accounting Dashboard next to the relevant item.
Please be aware that this does not fix the issue, it simply prevents this error from showing in Pet Manager and prevents it attempting to sync again. Please ensure that you have fixed the issue directly in Xero in these cases. You will no longer see the error for this item.
