After enabling the Xero addon, you can access the Xero integration settings by going to the Integrations option under the Settings menu.
You should then be able to see and click on the Xero integration option.
Setting Up Prefixes
The first thing you might see is the warning to setup unique prefixes prior to connecting Pet Manager to Xero. We highly recommend doing this if you are already running Xero, so that any existing data in Xero does not clash with Pet Manager and cause syncing issues.
Click the prefixes link to setup your prefixes. These appear before the ID numbers, for example invoice INV121.
If you change a prefix in the future, any existing data will not update to the new prefix, so it is best to get this set prior to syncing.
Connecting to Xero
You can press the Connect to Xero button to go to the Xero website and complete the integration process.
If you already have a Xero account, you can login here, otherwise you can create a new account. For the integration to work correctly, you would need to have at least a Standard level account in Xero.
Once you are logged in and have chosen the relevant organisation, you will be prompted to allow access from Pet Manager to Xero.
Simply press the blue Allow Access button, and you will be taken back to Pet Manager to complete the setup of the account linking and synchronization.
