Step 3 - Syncing Contacts

Once you have configured your codes to map to Xero. Continue with Step 3 and start syncing contacts.

Press Start Syncing Contacts to start the process. Please be aware that if you have several thousand contacts this process could take a couple of hours to complete. You can continue to use Pet Manager and the process will happen in the background.

You can view the contacts created in Xero by logging into Xero and clicking on the Contacts menu at the top.

Contacts synced to Xero from Pet Manager will be added to one of two contact groups:

Pet Manager Customers – This group will contain all your Pet Manager customers.

Pet Manager Suppliers – This group will include Pet Manager, Stripe, and any other retail suppliers you create in Pet Manager.

Note: Please make sure that you only update customers and suppliers in Pet Manager and not in Xero. Any changes in Xero will be overwritten the next time the data is updated from Pet Manager.
