In-Home Bookings – This feature is designed for situations where you or your staff attend a customer’s home to provide care for one or more pets. It simplifies the scheduling of recurring or multi-day visits by allowing multiple dates to be grouped together under a single booking record. You can add up to 50 dates within one booking group. This makes it easier to manage repeat visits.

You can add bookings by going to the top left menus and selecting, Bookings > Add Bookings, then Add In-Home Booking option.
In-Home Booking Form Fields
Customer – Select the customer for whom you are making the booking.
- You can also create a new customer by clicking the blue plus icon.
Location – When using the Multi-Site plan, select the location where the service will be held.
Date Type
Specific Date(s) - Enables the option to create individual bookings for one or more specific dates.
Dates (will appear when the above is selected) - Use the date picker to select the service dates. You may choose a single date or multiple dates as required.
Date Range - This option allows you to select recurring days within a defined date range. For example, you can configure bookings for every Tuesday and Thursday over the course of the next month.
Start - Select the date on which the booking period should begin.
End - Select the date on which the booking period should end.
Days - This field defines when the bookings will occur. Use the day picker to select the required days. Multiple days can be grouped together under one booking
Repeating Week - Enables the option to create a booking that repeats weekly, on a chosen day, for a set number of weeks.
Start Week - Defines the starting point for the repeat booking schedule. By selecting a date here, you set when the first booking in the series will begin, and subsequent bookings will follow the chosen pattern.
Repeat Every - Use this field to set the interval (in weeks) at which the repeat bookings will be created. For example, entering 2 will create a booking every two weeks.
Days -Select the specific days of the week to apply this pattern to - simply select a day, then click back into the field to add more.
Until - Choose a date to stop repeat bookings. After this date, no further repeats will be scheduled.
Or, Number Of Times To Repeat - Defines the total number of occurrences for the repeated booking in addition to the first booking.
| If you leave the "Until" or the "Or, Number Of Times To Repeat" fields empty, the booking will repeat indefinitely and have no end. For indefinite repeat bookings the system generates a fixed number of future cycles at a time, as defined in your system settings. The system maintains this count by adding new bookings as earlier ones are fulfilled |
For the above options, the below Checkboxes are available.
Ignore Validation - Enables you to ignore any opening hours, blocked dates and minimum night requirements set up in your system. You would do this if you have a specific booking you wish to override these rules for. This functionality is not available in the customer portal.
Unconfirmed checkbox - If selected the bookings will be entered into the system as unconfirmed. By default bookings added from the admin system are marked as confirmed. This functionality is not available in the customer portal.
Repeat Extras (Appears when Repeating Week is selected) - This checkbox will be ticked by default. Meaning that any extras selected, will repeat every time. If you prefer to select the days yourself, untick this checkbox and when you add extras below you can select the days it is for.
For all date types, the field options listed below remain unchanged.
Session Time - Pick the time slot for the booking visit (e.g., morning, mid-day, afternoon).

Area – This field will automatically default to the service you are booking.
Home Type – Depending on you systems configurations, select the Home Type (service) required for the booking from the dropdown menu.
- Home services can be created in “Courses, Sessions & Services” in the Settings menu.
Pets – Select the pet that will be attending the service.
- You can also create a new pet by clicking the
button.
Staff – Select the staff member or members who will be providing the service.
- Staff members can be created in “Account” in the Settings menu. See HERE for more information.
- If this field is left blank, the system will automatically assign the first available staff member to the booking.
If you wish to add additional services within the same category, to the booking, you can click the button at the bottom of the panel.
Notes - Use this field to add any additional information or booking details that may be required.
Personal Items - Use this field to add any additional information about personal items that the owner/pet may bring along to the service.
Booking Details
A summary of the booking details, including pricing and invoice line items, appears on the right side of the screen when using a desktop device, or below the booking form on mobile devices. This section also displays the customer’s most recent previous booking and all pets they own for reference.
Invoice Total - Confirms the total cost of the booking and provides the option to allocate tokens. The required amount, along with the customer’s available tokens, is displayed beneath the Use tokens field.
Add Package - Enables you to assign the booking to a pre‑purchased package.
Once the booking form has been completed and the details reviewed, click to proceed with the standard booking and invoicing process.
