Vets can be added to the system and assigned to individual customers and directly to pet vaccination records. Assigning a vet to a customer helps maintain a consistent reference for all pets under that owner, while assigning a vet to a specific vaccination ensures accurate tracking of who administered the treatment.
To add a new Vet go to Customers > Add Vet in the top left navigation bar
Vet Fields
Name – The name of the Veterinary Practice or Surgery.
Website – The website of the vet office.
Email – The email address of the vet.
Mobile Phone – The mobile phone number of the vet.
Business Phone – The business phone number of the vet office.
Address – The street address of the vet office.
City/Suburb – The city or suburb of the vet office.
- You can add a new suburb by clicking the blue plus icon.
Ignore Requires Vaccination – Enable this if customers of this vet do not require vaccinations to make bookings from the customer portal. (Sometimes used by vets that use Pet Manager for boarding. They will already have the vaccination details if they are the vet on file).
Active - Tick this box to make the vet’s details available when adding customers or recording vaccination information. If unticked, the vet will be hidden from standard search results.
Inactive vets can still be located by navigating to Customers > Find Vets, clicking the filter icon in the top-right corner, and selecting Show Inactive.
