Refunding a credit removes the available credit from the client profile and records the payout transaction, ensuring your revenue reports and balance sheets stay balanced.
To refund a credit note, navigate to the Customers profile.
Select the Credits / Refunds tab.
Click the drop down arrow beside the View button, then the 'Refund Credit' option.
A new window will open for you to enter the required information.
Invoice – Automatically fills credit note details.
Amount – Enter the refund dollar amount.
Payment Method – Select how the money was refunded.
Paid – Date and time the refund was made.

Notes – Optional notes visible on the payment transaction.
Click to update the client's available credit and account balance immediately. You will now see the recorded refund under the customer's financial records within their profile.
The credit note will now reflect whether the full amount or only a partial amount
was refunded.
| Note: The system does not automatically process monetary refunds. You will need to process the refund manually through your bank or via cash. |
