If a customer has credit available (eg. from cancelling a booking), the credit can be used as a payment towards another invoice.
To allocate credit to an invoice, find the customer with credit available. This will be shown in the Invoicing panel on the booking view or customer view.
Then, find an invoice with an amount owing and click the blue arrow then choose Allocate Credit. This option will only show for customers with credit available.
You will then be presented with the Allocate Credit form.
- Invoice – this will be selected automatically and will show the invoice number and amount owing.

Amount – the amount you want to allocate.
- This will be automatically set to the amount owing, deposit requirement amount, or the credit available (whichever is lower).
- You can not allocate more than the credit available amount.
Once the allocation details have been entered, just press the green Save button and the credit will be allocated and the invoice updated.
