The staff calendar provides a comprehensive view of each team member’s schedule. It displays their available time slots, current bookings, and overall availability status. This allows you to quickly identify who is scheduled, when they’re working, and what bookings have been assigned to them. The calendar layout supports efficient planning, conflict checking, and workload balancing across the team

To view the Staff Calendar go to the calendar icon along the top right navigations bar and select Staff Calendar.
Overview & Legend Guide
The calendar can be viewed by day or week. To switch views, use the dropdown menu located at the top left of the calendar interface.
In Day view, you’ll see staff names listed just under the dates at the top.
In Week View, the calendar displays one staff member at a time. Their name appears in the top-right corner of the calendar. To view a different staff member, click the arrow next to the name and select from the dropdown list.
Available staff time slots will be shown as white blocks within the calendar. These blocks indicate when a staff member is free to be booked.
To view or edit a staff members availability, go to the Staff Roster by clicking the button located in the top-right corner of the calendar interface. This will take you directly to the roster configuration screen.
To make it easy to see what’s happening at a glance, each booking tile in the Calendar is colour‑coded. The colours show whether a booking is for:
- Training
- Grooming
- Walking
- In-Home
- Dog Park
- Hydrotherapy
To view the Legend for the colour coding, select the grey button in the top‑right corner.
If a staff member is available for multiple services, the colour-coded indicators will appear to the left of their time slot to reflect each assigned service.
If a staff member is rostered for only one service due to allocated sessions, the session type will be indicated by the colour of the time slot.

Viewing Booking Information
Each tile displays basic information related to the booking, the pet, and the owner.

To view the information in more detail, hover over the tile. An information box will appear, providing an expanded overview that includes the pet alerts, associated tags, customer names, and payment information.
To view or edit a booking in full detail, click on the selected tile. This will take you directly to the original booking record.
Adding a Booking
Add a booking to an open tile time slot,
Navigate to the desired date in the calendar. Then, select the relevant staff member. Hover over the required time slot, and click the blue Book button that appears.
If the selected staff member is available for multiple service types during the chosen time slot, a list of options will appear. You can then select the required booking area from this list to proceed.
The booking form will open for you to select the customer and pet. The form will be prepopulated with the relevant Booking Area, Staff member, Date, and Time. If multiple services are available, they will appear in a dropdown menu for selection.
Once the booking form is completed, proceed with the booking as per your usual workflow. Confirm the details and follow the standard steps to finalise the booking.
Adding a booking to a session time slot,
Navigate to the desired date in the calendar. Locate the staff member assigned to the session, then click the session block to proceed.
If its a Groom booking the Grooming Service Window will open.
If its a session booking for example - Training or Walking, the Session Overview will open.
For both options, navigate to the bookings tab.
Selecting the button will open the bookings form for you to proceed as per your usual workflow. Confirm the details and follow the standard steps to finalise the booking.
