The Scheduler provides a comprehensive overview of all upcoming bookings, including details of the pets reserved and their associated payment status. From this view, you can also create new bookings, as well as adjust existing ones by moving them to a more suitable time slot or assigning them to an alternative pen.

Selecting the Area
From the menu in the top left corner, you can choose which area to look at - for example, Daycare, Grooming, or Boarding - so you’re always focused on the right part of your schedule.
Colour Coding and Legend Guide
To make it easy to see what’s happening at a glance, every booking in the Scheduler is colour‑coded. The colours show whether a booking is:
- Awaiting Checkin
- Checked in
- Checked out
- Unconfirmed
- Private
Dates and times that have been blocked for specific reasons are also colour‑coded. These include:
- Highlighted
- Blocked Checkins/Checkouts
- Blocked Bookings
To view the Legend for the colour coding, select the grey button in the top‑right corner.

To view the information in more detail, hover over the entry. An information tile will appear, providing an expanded overview that includes the customer alerts, associated tags, customer names, and payment information.
To view or edit a booking in full detail, click on the selected entry. This will take you directly to the original booking record.
Adding a Booking
In the top‑right corner, you’ll find a button that allows you to add new bookings quickly and easily.
Bookings can also be added directly within the Scheduler by selecting a free block on the required date. If the service allows multiple bookings, the new booking block will appear at the bottom of the Item list.

Interactive Scheduling
The scheduler has been developed to streamline the organisation of bookings, ensuring optimal use of pens to maximise availability and suitability.
In the context of boarding bookings, the scheduler provides a clear overview of available slots and supports the split booking functionality. This allows you to fill vacant spaces either by editing the original booking to move it between pens or by adding a split booking directly.
Bookings can be reassigned between pens using the drag‑and‑drop functionality. This allows users to optimise pen allocation by moving entries to more appropriate locations, with the system automatically updating the booking record.
