Area Types - Report

The Area Types report provides a clear breakdown of business activity and revenue generated across your core service categories - such as Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and In-Home care - within a selected date range. Designed to give you operational visibility, this page summarizes the total number of bookings, individual pets hosted, and accumulated revenue for each area type, along with grand totals across your facility. By using the date range controls, search tool, and export options (Print, Excel, or CSV), you can easily assess performance trends, track service demand, and optimize resource allocation across your operations.

To access the Area Types Report, go to Reports > Bookings > Area Types.

 

Using the date pickers, select the date range you wish to view. This report displays bookings that have a checkin date between the selected dates.

From this page, you can see a quick breakdown of Bookings, Pets and financial totals in relation to each area type.

• Area Type eg. Boarding, Grooming, Daycare, Training, Walking.
• Bookings total
• Pets total

• Cost total - per area over the selected period

  

• Total - for date selection per column

  

The Search bar lets you quickly look up one particular area.

To help you search efficiently use information like:

• Area Type

Click the   Filter icon in the top right corner to open the filtering menu, where you can narrow your search by location when using the multi location plans.

You can also export the displayed data in different formats at any time for reporting or backup purposes:

Print – Generates a printer-friendly version of the current data for easy hard-copy reference or record-keeping.

Excel – Exports the data to a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file, ideal for sorting, filtering, and advanced data manipulation.

CSV – Downloads the data as a Comma-Separated Values (.csv) file, useful for importing into other software or databases.

Just a heads-up when you're ready to print or export: the system will only include the entries currently visible on your screen.
