Journal Types

Booking Journals are for notes about one visit. Pet Journals are for details that stay with the pet over time. Using both ensures you capture what’s unique to each visit as well as the pet’s overall history.

To add/edit or delete Journal Types go to Settings > Customization

Then click Journal Types from the left side menu.

Journal Types Overview

This table displays all existing Journal Types active and inactive and provides quick and easy editing. It shows usage counts per Journal and allows you to toggle the Active status on or off.

To edit a Journal Type click on the   button at the end of each line entry.

To delete a Journal Type click on the arrow next to Edit.

Adding a Journal Type

To add a new Journal Type click on the button top right.

Name - Choose a Journal name that clearly shows its purpose — for example, Grooming, Training, Warning, or Behaviour.

Active - Use the Active toggle to switch a Journal on or off. Active Journals are available for use; inactive Journals are hidden but not deleted.
