A marketing email campaign is a great way to directly reach current and previous customers, helping your pet business build relationships, promote services, and drive engagement. By sending newsletters, reminders, promotions, or pet care tips—especially through bulk emailing—you can efficiently reach large groups of clients at once, keeping your brand top of mind and encouraging repeat visits. These campaigns also build trust through valuable content, can be automated for consistency, and provide potential long-term business growth.
To access the Marketing section in Pet Manager, click on Tools in the top menu, then Email Marketing.
This takes you to the Marketing Dashboard Intro which is split into various sections:
Marketing Dashboard
1) Navigation Panel
Use this panel to navigate between Email Campaigns, Email Templates, and Marketing Lists. From here, you can also add new campaigns, templates, and lists.
The Email Campaigns panel lets you create, send, and track bulk emails to keep your customers informed and engaged.
The Email Templates panel allows you to create and manage reusable email layouts for faster, consistent customer communication.
The Marketing Lists panel lets you group customers into targeted lists for sending relevant and personalised email campaigns.
2) Create a New Campaign
Rather than going through the navigation panel (1), you can create Email Campaigns straight from the intro page.
Firstly, choose a Marketing List from the dropdown menu.
If you don't have a Marketing List available, you can click to create a new list.
Once you've created a new Marketing List or selected one, click next.
Now you have the option to select your Marketing Template, or if none are available on the dropdown.
Click to Create a new Template. Once created, you will have the option to choose this template.
3) Email & Campaign Numerical Statistics
This section displays summary tiles showing the total number of emails sent, the number sent in the last 30 days, and the date of the most recent campaign. These tiles are static (not clickable). To view detailed information about specific emails or campaigns, please use the Navigation Panel (1).
The Marketing Emails panel shows how many emails you’ve sent, helping you track outreach volume and manage email credit usage.
Tracking emails sent in the past 30 days helps you gauge engagement and spot trends in your campaign activity.
Knowing the date of your last campaign helps you stay consistent and time your next outreach effectively.
4) Marketing Credits
This panel provides an up-to-date tally of your Email Marketing Credits. You can also purchase additional credits directly from this section by clicking the plus sign.
The Marketing Credits panel shows how many credits you have left, helping you manage usage and know when to top up.
5) Email & Campaign Line Graph Statistics
This section offers a visual summary, similar to section (3), but presented as line graphs. It shows total numbers of delivered emails, bounced/complained replies, and opened emails, giving you a clear visual reference at a glance.
Delivery Rate Confirms your emails are actually reaching inboxes.
Bounce Rate Helps identify invalid or outdated email addresses. The Complaint Rate Shows how many people marked your email as spam—important for reputation.
Open Rate Shows how many people opened your email—helps measure subject line effectiveness.
