Staff Roster Templates allow you to automatically generate future roster hours, ensuring staff availability for bookings. Once created, you can choose how many weeks ahead to populate. At the start of each week, the system will auto-fill rosters for that duration. You can manually adjust rostered hours after automation if needed.

To create and manage your Staff Roster Templates, go to Settings > Account,
Then navigate to Staff Roster Templates in the left side menu.
Overview of Staff Roster Templates
The Overview page provides a quick view of existing roster templates set up for your team, with easy access to edit start and end times.
Using the search options you can -
Select Location - When using the Multi-Site plan, you can view the templates setup for each site individually.
Select Area Type - Each roster template is configured per Area Type and per staff member. To view all staff assigned to a specific Area Type, use the dropdown menu to select the relevant option.
Select Staff - To view the roster templates assigned to a specific staff member, use the dropdown menu to choose the relevant individual.
From the this page, you can also edit or delete the entry.
Creating Staff Roster Templates
To create a new template click on the button top right.
Staff – Select the staff member for whom you want to create a roster template.
Area – Select the Area to which the staff member’s time should be allocated. The dropdown will only show Areas already assigned to that staff member
Days – Select the days of the week the staff member is scheduled to work
Start Time – Select the time the staff member’s shift will begin.
End Time – Select the time the staff member’s shift will end.
Once edited press the button bottom right.
To create a template from existing staff hours on the roster, click on the button at the top of the page. This will generate new templates based on the selected week.
From Date – Select the week containing the existing rostered hours to use as the basis for generating the template.
Staff – Select the staff members you want to build roster templates for — you can select more than one.

Removing Staff Roster Templates
To remove time slots previously created by templates, click on the button at the top of the Overview page
From Date - Enter the date from which all template-generated time slots should be cleared.
Staff - Select the staff member to apply this clearance to.
Once edited press the button bottom right.
| Note; Any existing staff roster hours (excluding existing bookings or sessions) will be removed, and roster automation will be reset from this date. |
Enabling Staff Roster Automation
Once your roster templates are set up, you can enable automation by toggling on the Staff Roster Auto Enable switch in the settings panel below the templates. This ensures your roster stays up to date on a rolling basis.
You will need to set the Staff Roster Auto Weeks value to define how many weeks in advance the system should generate the rosters.
Once edited press the button bottom right.
