Pet Manager makes it easy to collect star-rated feedback from customers once their bookings are complete. This feature helps you monitor service quality, identify areas for improvement, and showcase positive experiences. Reviews can be automatically requested after checkout, allowing customers to rate their experience and leave comments, which can be viewed and managed within the system.

Awaiting Reviews
Awaiting reviews are bookings where the customer has checked out and is still within the 14-day window to complete a review. This section lets you track which reviews have been received. Once the 14-day period ends, the booking will automatically be removed from this list.
To view Awaiting Reviews - click the 'Awaiting' button at the top of the list.
The View button located to the right of each entry will take you to the original booking.
Request in person: If you choose to gather reviews in person, you can access a 'Pending Reviews' list by clicking the 'View Pending Reviews' button. Customers (or staff on their behalf) can quickly click the 'Leave Review' button next to their booking to enter the review. They can either find their booking in the list themselves or have staff select it for them.
This 'Pending Reviews' window is completely separate from your Pet Manager admin software - you don’t need to be logged in to access this list. Meaning members of the public can't access your sensitive information unknowingly.
The other way you can ask for a review in person is via the booking. The button will be present in the Booking Heading Information. By clicking this button, you can request an in-person review, allowing the customer to fill out and submit the review form on the spot. Please note that this review form is accessed through the admin portal, so there is a potential risk that customers could access sensitive information. For this reason, I recommend that only staff members offer this option.
Send Email Request
If an in-person review isn’t possible, you can send an email using the 'Departure' wording template, which includes a link to the review form. The best way to ensure this departure email is sent is to set it up to send automatically at checkout. You can configure these settings to do this. Learn more about Emails, SMS, and Templates here.
However, if you haven't set this email to send automatically - you can manually do this from the Awaiting Review list.
To send the email from the Awaiting Review list:
Select the booking you want to email.
- Click the Email button
, which will open a new window.
- Select the 'Departure' wording template containing the review link.
- Once selected, the wording will appear in the email body. Review it, and click Send when you’re ready.
Once that's selected, the wording will appear in the body of the email. Click the send button once happy with the wording.
