Breeds - Report

The Breeds report displays the total number of bookings recorded for each animal breed within the selected date range. It provides a clear breakdown of how often each breed has been booked, allowing you to identify trends, popular breeds, and shifts in demand over time. By summarising booking activity at breed level, the report helps you understand which breeds contribute most to your overall workload, supports planning for staffing and resources.

To access the Animal Breeds Report, go to Reports > Pets > Breeds.

Using the date pickers, select the start and end dates for the period you want to review. Once you’ve chosen your dates, the report will update to show all breeds that have active bookings that fall within your selected range.

From this page you can view;

• Breed
• Bookings - shows the total number of bookings recorded for each breed. Cancelled bookings are included, and if a pet is booked for multiple services on the same day, each service is counted individually, ensuring the report reflects the full volume of booking activity.
• Total - The combined number of pets with one or more bookings in the selected date range, giving you a complete total of all animals included in the report.

The Search bar lets you quickly look up a specific breed.

Click the   Filter icon in the top right corner to open the filtering menus, where you can narrow your search using specific criteria.

Select Animal Type - Allows you to filter the report by specific animal types, such as Cats or Dogs.

Select Location - Allows you to filter by location when using the multi location plans.

You can also export the displayed data in different formats at any time for reporting or backup purposes:

Print – Generates a printer-friendly version of the current data for easy hard-copy reference or record-keeping.

Excel – Exports the data to a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file, ideal for sorting, filtering, and advanced data manipulation.

CSV – Downloads the data as a Comma-Separated Values (.csv) file, useful for importing into other software or databases.

When you are ready to print or export: the system will only include the entries currently visible on your screen.

To ensure you get your full list, please remember to adjust the "Show Entries" dropdown to reflect the total number of records you need before clicking export.
