The Mail List Export report allows you to generate targeted contact lists for client communication. It provides essential customer contact details - including full addresses, phone numbers, email contacts, and customer types - while ensuring privacy compliance by filtering based on contact consent preferences.
With filters for area types, animal breeds, locations, customer types, and consent options, you can easily tailor your audience list. Built-in export tools - including a "Copy Emails" button, Excel, and CSV options - make it quick and convenient to import client details directly into your email marketing platform or mailing system.
To access the Mail List Export Report, go to Reports > Customers > Mail List Export
Using the date pickers, select the date range you wish to view. This report defaults to customers with bookings that are checking in or out between the selected dates.
The blue text on this page is clickable and will take you directly to the corresponding information. e.g. customers name will take you to the customers profile.
From this page, you can quickly view all key details at a glance, including:
- Customers Name and Number
- Address
- City / Suburb
- State / Region
- Postcode
- Home Phone
- Mobile Phone
- Business Phone
- Customer Type
Clicking on the icon reveals the secondary contact information (if provided) and customers' Pet(s).
The Search bar lets you quickly look up customers.
To help you search efficiently use information like:
- Customer Name
- Pet Name
- Address
- Phone Number
Click the Filter icon in the top right corner to open the filtering menus, where you can narrow your search using specific criteria.
Booking Checkin/Checkout - Enables you to filter by booking checkin and out, Customer created date, or All Customers.
Select Area Type - Enables you to filter by Area Type such as Daycare, Boarding or Grooming.
Select Animal Type - e.g.. Dog, Cat etc.
Select Breed - Enables you to filter by pet breed.
Select Location - Enables you to filter by location when using the multi location plans.
Select Customer Type - Enables you to filter by customer type.
Hide Inactive - Enables you to filter by active or inactive customers.
Hide Not Welcome - Enables you to filter customers with the status Not Welcome, allowing you to Hide, Include, or Show Only those customers.
Only Consent Contact - Enables you to filter customers based on their Consent Contact status, allowing you to Hide, Show Any Consent, or Show Only those customers who have provided consent.
If you want to show more or fewer entries on the page, use the Show Entries dropdown in the top‑right corner.
The system defaults to showing 10 entries to help reduce server load, but you can increase this up to 5,000 entries if needed.
You can also export the displayed data in different formats at any time for reporting or backup purposes:
Excel – Exports the data to a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file, ideal for sorting, filtering, and advanced data manipulation.
CSV – Downloads the data as a Comma-Separated Values (.csv) file, useful for importing into other software or databases.
Copy Emails - Will copy the list of emails, you will need to show more to copy more than 10 entries at a time.
Just a heads-up when you're ready to Copy emails or export: the system will only include the entries currently visible on your screen.
To ensure you get your full list, please remember to adjust the "Show Entries" dropdown to reflect the total number of records you need before clicking export.
