Dog Park Session Types

Dog Park Sessions now include a Dog Park Session Type, which allows sessions to be grouped by a shared name. This makes it easier for customers to find all sessions of a particular type in the customer portal. When a Dog Park Session Type is pre-selected, the calendar will automatically highlight all dates where sessions of that type are available.

To create and manage your Dog Park Session Types go to Settings > Courses, Sessions & Services.

Then navigate to Dog Park Session Types in the left side menu.

Walking Dog Park Types - Overview

The Overview page displays a list of all Dog Park Session Types, allowing quick edits to key fields. You can click directly on the underlined Name, Start Time and End Time, to update them, and toggle the Active status.

If multiple prices are configured for the service, this field will display “from” followed by the lowest applicable price. This indicates that pricing may vary based on factors such as customer type, number of pets, or package settings.

To make further changes to a Dog Park Session Type, click the Edit button to open the full edit view. If you need to delete a session type, click the dropdown arrow next to Edit and choose Delete from the menu.

To view inactive Dog Park Session Types, toggle the Show Inactive switch to the on position. This will display all session types that are currently marked as inactive within the Overview list.

Adding Dog Park Session Types

You can add a new Dog Park Session Type with the Add Session Type button in the top-right of list.

Name - The title or label used to identify this Dog Park session type.

Description - Description of what is included in this Dog Park session type.

Start Time - Sets the default time that Dog Park sessions begin.

End Time - Sets the default time that Dog Park sessions will end.

Dog Park Type - The type of Dog Park. New types can be added with the    button.

Active - Whether this Dog Park Session Type is active and selectable when adding Dog Park Sessions.

Pricing

Each Dog Park Session Type can contain multiple prices for different customer types.

Customer Type - The customer type to associate with this price. You can leave it blank to apply to all customer types.

Session Cost - The cost for an individual session. 

Tokens - The cost in tokens for this pricing. Leave this blank if you are not utilising tokens/packages for individual sessions. 

To add a new price press the button.

Important -Prices will be checked in the order shown, the first matching item will be used as the booking cost.

You can adjust this order by selecting the up/down arrows and dragging the items into your desired position.

Utilising Dog Park Session Types

Dog Park Session Types help categorise and organise your Dog Park activities. When creating a new Dog Park Session, you will need to allocate the appropriate Session Type.
