When products on a sales order are due to be returned or have already been returned, it’s helpful to see this information at a glance. This quick visibility makes it easier to track which orders have returns associated with them, understand their current status, and ensure any follow‑up actions, such as refunds or stock updates, are completed accurately.

To view the Order Returns report navigate to Retail > Sales Orders Reports > Order Returns.
Order Returns Overview
The Returns report will show at a glance:
Order - The Sales Order reference number, shown in blue so you can click straight into the order.
Customer - Displays the customers name and account number, shown in blue so you can click straight into the account.
Items - The specified number of units returned on the order.
Received Date - Displays the date the items were received back. If no date appears, the return is still pending.
Actions - Offers a live button that lets you quickly navigate to the original order.
To filter orders by their received date, turn on the toggle and select the date range you want to search within by using the calendar options in the top‑right corner.
Entries can be sorted using the arrow icons next to the column headers.
Using the filter button in the top‑right corner, you can view the report by selecting the different return‑status stages from the dropdown menu on the left.
The order can be searched for, by using the search field and entering the order reference, the customer’s name, or the customer’s account number.
When the report displays the orders you want to manage, you can export the list to Excel or CSV, or print it directly using the buttons located in the top‑right corner.
The number of orders that will be printed or exported depends on how many are currently displayed. You can increase this by using the Show Entries options.
Completing a Return
To complete a return and set its status to received, go to the original sales order by clicking the button located to the right of the order entry in the report.
Under the Returns tab on the sales order, select the button.
Using the date picker, select the date and time the item was received.
The Sales Order will be updated with a date stamp confirming that the products have been Returned.
