There are a number of customizations relating to bookings you can make to the customer portal. To access these customizations go to Settings > Customer Portal.
Then click on Portal Bookings on the left.
There are a number of sections on this page:
Bookings
- Portal Maximum Pets - Limit the maximum number of pets that can stay for any given day across both boarding and daycare. This is primarily used by smaller home facilities where the pens used are the same for boarding and daycare and you do not wish to overbook. Please note: pens in pet manager are not linked across boarding and daycare.
- Portal Maximum Pets Checkout - Used in combination with the setting above. Includes pets checking out in the calculation of the maximum pets per day.
- Portal Booking Lead Days - Minimum number of days bookings can be created prior to checkin. Prevent bookings from being made for tomorrow for example by putting a lead time of 2 days.
Services
- Portal Groomers - Show grooming staff names when grooming bookings are made in the customer portal.
- Portal Grooming Prices - Show prices for grooming in customer portal

Portal Collapse Services - After a customer has added a service e.g. grooming it collapses the box to add another service. This makes it less confusing for the customer as they can still add a new service if they require with an add service button that appears. This setting is on by default.
Extras

Portal Prompt Extras - If a customer has not added any extras to their booking this setting will prompt whether they wish to. Similar to 'Would you like fries with that?".
- Portal Extra Prices - Show pricing on the tiles for the extras that are offered.
Wordings
- Portal Booking Lead Text - Text to display above the date picker fields in teh customer portal.
- Portal Booking Success - Message to display after a booking is created in the customer portal.
- Portal Booking Unavailable - Message to display when there is no availability for the dates selected when making a booking request.
- Portal Booking Notes Text - Text to display for the booking notes field if you want specific information to be input there by the customers.
- Portal Personal Item Text - Text to display to clarify what are accepted or not accepted as personal items.
No availability Wording
There is also a button in the top right corner for No Availability wording.
This is the wording that appears when there is no availability when searching via Check Availability in the customer portal. Click the button to edit it.
