Grooming Services are required for Grooming bookings, where a single pet will be attending your facility for a grooming appointment.
To add new grooming services, open the Settings menu in the top navigation and click the Courses, Sessions & Services link.
Then click Grooming Services in the left side menu. The options shown here will vary depending on the area types enabled.
Then, just click the blue Add Service button at the top.
Grooming Service Fields

Name – the name of the grooming service.
- This will be shown in the grooming forms, including customer portal.

Description – the description of the grooming service.
- This will be shown in the grooming and availability forms in the customer portal.

Grooming Type – the type of grooming.
- This is required for matching available staff to the service.
- This can also be used for restricting package token allocations to the service.
- Animal Type – the animal type that can use the service.

Station Type – the station type required by the service.
- Stations will be automatically assigned when creating bookings.

Active – disable this if you no longer require this service.
- Services cannot be deleted if they have bookings associated, so they must be made inactive instead.
- Show Portal – enable this if you wish this service to be shown in the customer portal.
Grooming Service Pricing
Grooming services can have multiple pricing options. When a booking cost is being calculated, the prices are checked in order and the first matching price will be used. You can reorder the prices using the icon in the top right.

Animal Size – the animal size.
- If this is not selected the pricing will apply to all animal sizes.

Customer Type – the customer type.
- If this is not selected the pricing will apply to all customer types.
- Cost – the cost of the service (for each pet).
- Tokens – the number of tokens required for the service (for each pet).

Time – the length of the service.
- Booking checkout times will be based on the service length.
