Using 'Special Hours' to Add Special Opening Hours for Certain Dates

You may wish to have different times for certain days of the year - for example on New Years Day you might only be open in the afternoon for pickups. You can utilize "Special Hours".

Please note that special hours does not affect blocked dates, only opening hours that are found in settings > general > opening hours. 

Go to Settings > Customisation.

Select "Special Hours" from the options on the left.

Add Single Entry for Special Hours

Click the "+Add Special Hour" button

There are 2 options for Special Hour Block Type

Allow Checkins/Checkouts - Use this when you are not normally open on this day but wish to set special hours for opening hours on this day.

Block Checkins/Checkouts - Use this when you are normally open on this day but wish to block part of the opening hours on this day.

Say for example you are normally open from 8am-5pm on New Years Day but only wish to be open from 2pm-5pm on that day.

Here are the settings you could use to achieve that.

In this scenario we are blocking 8am-2pm so whatever time is remaining in the normal opening hours for that day will still be available.

Add Multiple Entries for Special Hours

If you wish to add special times for multiple days where the special times will be the same, you can use "Bulk Special Hours".

Click the "+Bulk Special Hours" button

The only different with this screen is that you can select multiple days for the special opening hours to apply to. E.g. if you had a few public holidays where you were only open in the afternoon, you could select all of those days in one entry.

Editing/Deleting Special Hours

You can edit an existing entry with the edit button, or click on the name, date or times to edit them directly.

Clicking the dropdown arrow next to edit, you can then click on 'delete' to delete an existing entry.
