As part of the migration of our systems to be compatible with Xero, we have changed from our legacy credits system to one that utilises credit notes. It is important to understand what credit notes are as they now form an important part of Pet Manager.
A credit note is used to reduce the amount of an invoice or in order to provide a refund to a client for payments on an existing invoice.
When you consolidate invoices in Pet Manager now, instead of Voiding the old invoice, Pet Manager will apply a credit note against the old invoice.
If you are utilising the Xero addon, all credit notes flow through to Xero automatically.
