Accessing the Dashboard
You can access the dashboard from any page using the Accounting widget (money symbol) at the top of the page once you have enabled Xero.
You can also click the link for View Accounting Dashboard from the Accounting tab in Settings.
At the top, the Accounting Dashboard shows you a report of how many items have synced, have errors and are queued to sync.
It shows numbers for Contacts, Invoices, Credit Notes, Overpayments, Payments, Allocations and Payouts through Stripe.
Further down on the Accounting Dashboard you will see numerous tabs that display errors for the various financial records. Items that have errors with appear with a number in a red circle.
Click on the relevant tab to display the details. In this example we have an incorrect Account Code set for Overpayments. If we went ahead and changed the code in the xero settings, we could come back and press the
button. This would attempt to sync the items again to the select account code. The errors should then be resolved.
If you have an error that can't be resolved in Pet Manager, for example if you have a payment that isn't synchronized because it is against an invoice that is before the sync start date you selected, then you will need to manually resolve it in Xero and then click the Resolved button in the Accounting Dashboard.
Please be aware that this does not fix the issue, it simply hides the error because you are reporting that you have fixed the issue yourself. You will no longer see the error for this item.
